Eventful Week

Well, know life is back to somewhat normalcy, but not for long.

I was camping for a few days with my family, but now I am home to keep everything under control until the rest of my family gets back home. Everything is going pretty good so far.

Last night I was at a meeting on the Diocesan Vocations Website. It should be really nice when it is done. Our target date is Vocations Awareness Week in January. The domain name should be http://www.youngstownvocations.org/.
I hope I was allowed to say that. LOL!

I cooked Spaghetti Sauce today for a party which I am having on Sunday. So, today for dinner, we had Spaghetti. My Grandma came up, and my brother was here, and we tested my sauce. It was good. I am also on this salad kick in which I use red leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, with balsamic vinegar and oil. I know I am not the first to think of it, but I can't stop making it. So, there is a nice big pot of sauce in my fridge now for Sunday.

I also cut the grass, and did some lawn work today. So, basically I cut the weeds, since that is all that is growing. Can't the damn things just die. Do they ever just die? I think they are immortal.

I also went up to my Parish to get my instruction for tomorrow. Tomorrow I start taking Holy Communion to those parishioners in Nursing Homes and who are Home Bound. I am not sure what to expect, but I will shortly find out.

I also return back to the school on Friday the 19th to help with Orientation. It should be an interesting week. It is probably the easiest week in school, since we really don't do anything. I sort of wish I was still going to be home for that week, but I guess I have to go back sooner or later.

I have also been thinking, which is a dangerous thing for me to do, about the importance of the Priest giving Holy Communion to the faithful at Mass. I think there may be some deeper Theological meaning behind the Priest as Alter Christus giving Holy Communion over a lay person like myself. I will have to think about that a bit more and see if there is anything really theological behind it.

Finally, I wish I had something in which I could put the face of Jesus, oh I mean have the face of Jesus just randomly appear in which I then get some money for it...
